It has been 6 months since our participation in Innovation Labs 2019, an annual event by the Association of Test Publishers (ATP). And, already the buzz for the 2020 event has begun. ATP is a non-profit organization representing providers of tests and assessment tools and/or services related to assessment, selection, screening, certification, licensing, educational, or clinical uses.

The ATP Innovation Lab conference, then in its third year, aimed to, in their own words, “ shine a light on entrepreneurs whose innovations could revolutionize the assessment and testing industry.”

Interview Mocha not only got the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the best innovators out there but also make it to the final 4 participants! The opportunity allowed us to present our pitch to a live audience followed by an unscripted Q&A and discussion session. 

Sujit Karpe, Co-Founder & CTO, represented Interview Mocha on this grand platform and pitched how Interview Mocha assessment platform could revolutionize the way assessments are conducted. 

It was a tough competition and while we didn’t win in our first year of participation, it was a great learning experience. The process helped us gain a significant amount of exposure and credibility in the world of skills assessments. All questions and interactions had a way of making us aware of how to proceed in the years to come. 

Now that Innovation Labs 2020 is on its way, our best wishes to all the current participants. Additionally, if anyone wants to seek us out for inputs based on our past experience, we would be more than happy to extend our support to them.
